German business delegation from the South
of Germany will visit OGTech
The Oman-German University (OGTech) will
hold two different presentations on Monday.
In the afternoon at OGTech and in the
evening at Muscat Private School.
A German delegation, comprising 23
businessmen from the construction sector in
the South of Germany, will visit OGTech
tomorrow afternoon. To inform the delegation
about all OGTech BSc study programmes and to
enhance OGTech s link with the German
industry sector Professor Christoph Hilgers,
vice-rector, will hold a presentation at the
university s campus at 4 pm. Hilgers will
inform the German delegation especially
about the BSc programme in urban planning
and architectural design and about further
project cooperations with the industry.
The German business delegation is currently
on a three days visit to the Sultanate.
Tomorrow morning the businessmen will visit
the Wave project and other construction
sites in Muscat.
To inform students and their parents about
the study programmes of OGTech, Dr. Barbara
Stauble, academic director, will hold a
presentation on Monday evening, 7 pm, at
Muscat Private School.
OGTech currently has 60 students in the
foundation year and will start the BSc
programmes next year. The university is
located in North al Gubrah and is a partner
university of RWTH Aachen university, one of
the elite universities in Germany.
