STEPS TO ENROL AT OGTech
Congratulations on your admission to the Oman-German University of Technology (OGTech). The five easy steps in the process of becoming a student at OGTech are outlined here:

STEP ONE: CONFIRM YOUR INTENTION TO ENROL
Complete and sign the confirmation slip enclosed to the offer letter that was mailed/e-mailed to you and return it to the Admission and Enrolment Office by fax, e-mail or in person. It is important that you return your confirmation slip to us within the prescribed period. Once we have received the slip back a study place on the programme is reserved for you.

STEP TWO: SIT FOR THE OGTECH ENGLISH PLACEMENT TEST
Information about the date, time and the location of your English Placement Test are included in your Letter of Offer. Please contact the Admission and Enrolment Office if you are not able to sit for the Test on the specified date or if you have any questions about the Test.

The English Placement Test may be waived if you can submit evidence of an IELTS or TOEFL test that you have taken within the last calendar year, or if you have completed your secondary school qualification in an institution where English is the medium of instruction.

STEP THREE: MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ALL THE REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
We recommend that you refer to the check-list below before visiting the OGTech Foundation Campus to enrol in the programme of your choice:

STEP FOUR: VISIT THE OGTECH FOUNDATION CAMPUS TO ENROL
You will be expected to visit the OGTech Foundation Campus in Al Ghubra during the enrolment period to receive academic advising, submit necessary documentation, as specified in your offer letter, and pay your tuition fees.

During your visit, you will meet a member of the Admissions and Enrolment Office who will assist you with your enrolment process, collect and verify your documents, explain to you what courses you are required to enrol in, and help you fill in your enrolment form.

Once you complete and sign your enrolment form, you will be asked to pay the tuition fees associated with your programme of study by cheque, money transfer or cash in order to confirm your student status. If your fees are being paid by money transfer, please bring proof of payment when you come to enrol.

If your fees are being paid by your employer or another sponsor, you must bring a headed letter from them confirming the sponsorship. If there is any difficulty in obtaining payment of the fees, you will be required to pay the fees yourself.

You may choose to pay fees in instalments. In this case, please submit the corresponding form to request a Tuition Instalment Plan. You will be expected to pay the first instalment of the plan upon enrolment.

Please note that your enrolment is not complete if we do not receive your payment.

STEP FIVE: ISSUANCE OF YOUR STUDENT CARD
Upon successful enrolment, we will issue you with your OGTech student card. This will be your evidence that you are a student of the University and will entitle you to borrow books from the Library, activate your Email account and use all the facilities of the University.

You will also be informed of the date and schedule for the Orientation Days. During the Orientation Days, we will provide additional information about how to study at OGTech, rules and regulations, time tables and much more. You will also be handed your textbooks and your laptop.
